Droplets

2026

Water held at the instant of impact, cut in onyx and marble.

Each work begins with the shape of a fall — a drop, a spread, a scatter — then is carved in banded stone and set flush to the wall. The natural veining does the work of movement; the stone does the work of stillness.

Still Water — a pink onyx splash form with satellite droplets mounted on a white wall.

A single fall caught mid-spread. Banded pink onyx keeps the ripple where water would have lost it.

Stepped blue contours fall inward, the splash read as depth rather than motion.
